Invite your team

Once your business has at least one shop, you'll want to invite your team. Invites use a short 4-character code you share via WhatsApp, SMS, or in-person - no email or app store search needed.

Sending an invite

1. Open Menu → Manage → Staff.
2. Tap the + button.
3. Enter the person's mobile number or email - you'll see a country picker for the dial code.
4. Tap Continue.
5. If the contact already has a ShopRunner account in one of your businesses, you'll be taken straight to their staff page to add them to another shop. Otherwise, pick the business and shops they should join.
6. Pick a role and (if applicable) Buyer capability.
7. Tap Create invite - you'll get a code like TTMR.
8. Share the code via WhatsApp / SMS / in person.

What the invitee sees

They open the app, tap Join a business, type the code, and they're in. If they don't have an account yet, they finish sign-up with their name first.

Multiple businesses, one code

If you create separate invites for the same contact across multiple businesses, the recipient enters the code once and joins all the pending invites at the same time.

Cancelling an invite

Tap the pending invite, then Delete invite. The code becomes invalid immediately.
